Cross country meet 2015
What a pleasure it is to use our school track and facility. In my opinion, the best in St. James school division. Great school spirit from all participating schools. Join us at our next meet on September 28. Our coaching staff have worked this September to get our students ready. Go sharks go!!

Volunteering is good for your soul
Volunteering can be a great way to develop skills, learn more about career options, make friends, garner new professional contacts, get exercise, spend time outdoors/with animals/with friends, or even just shake up your routine.
Look at me here at the Greek pavilion here in Winnipeg this summer @Folklorama. I had the pleasure of volunteering and had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Mayor, #Brian Bowman, who went to the same high school as me.
Cool!

Grade 7 plays
Grade 7's have chosen their scripts for our next unit. They will be using their dramatic abilities to perform characters in the plays which circle around themes of the Le Café. Some students have further challenged themselves performing Les trois petite cochons which contains more characters. All groups will have choice on their presentation style. Puppets ( marionettes), animation, istop motion or live performance are a few suggestions. I look forward to supporting their creativity.
Grade 8's cooking shows
Grade 8's are working on their projects for our very exciting Cooking Unit. They are learning new vocabulary, expressions and sentence structures while making their scripts for their shows. It is very exciting to hear their enthusiasm for all the various dishes they will be preparing.
Ask your child about their recipe. Some groups have begun filming. Bon appetite!!
